A graduate from Liverpool John Moores University with a Bsc (Hon) Degree in Multimedia Systems. The degree included a year in industry which took place at a construction company with the position of Graphics Marketing assistant.

 

A hardworking, enthuastic individual who is always developing skills old and new. I have the ability to work as an individual or as part of a team. I also have skills ranging in team/individual work, communication and problem solving. I also work well under pressure being able to meet deadlines in advanced and also, unexpected deadlines. I can take critisim very well and if I don't agree with something, I will view both sides and give my opinion in a justified manner to show all points both positive and negative. I realise that in any working environment I will be expected to work with no support and I deal with that to the best of my ability, using the available resources around me.

Advanced level user of photoshop with the ability to design and manipulate images.

Advanced leve user for the creation of interactive (X)HTML/CSS websites

Beginner level in creating basic animations. Can also create interactive media such as CD-ROMS and websites

Install wordpress on a domain & customise using XHTML/CSS so it is consistant with the rest of a site.

Brand guidelines
Have had experience working to strict brand guidelines. It helped me understand how consistancy is important within design to keep brand recognition. You also don't have to let creativity slip either, you can be creative with brand guidelines.

Liase with printers
Have had experience in booking print jobs at the printers. Being reponsible for the paper stock, print & finish options. Making sure that that proofs where checked thoroughly. Print marks where on each job with the correct amount of bleeding.

Skill Experience:

I have had experience in liasing with printers to ensure that print jobs are booked correctly. I have been responsible for print jobs in previous employment, making sure that the correct file formats with bleeds are sent also the print finish and paper stock. I also have the ability to ask for proofs before a job is sent to final print, so that any corrections can be made

Data Cleansing skills: Ability to clean a CRM system of any duplicate and redundant data

Managing communications between company branches throughout the UK, whether it be orders for print supplies, work wear or design requests

Creating interactive CD-ROMs for marketing events that can be handed to clients with the days information

Work to tight deadlines, under pressure as well as by myself or as part of a group
